Mersey Ferries "Snowdrop" arriving at Seacombe from Liverpool
The colours were designed by Sir Peter Blake who was inspired by 20th century artists who painted British vessels in dazzle camouflage to confuse enemy U-boats. Sir Peter Blake is more well known for designing the cover of The Beatles Sgt Pepper album cover.
